Marco Paglialunga has 25+ years of volleyball experience as a coach. He coached the Italian Women's National Teams for 8 years as Assistant and Head Coach of the Youth, Junior, and Senior Teams, collecting 8 International Medals and one World Cup in 2011.
Marco also coached for 4 years in the Italian Serie A, the best professional league in the world, and he collected 4 National Championships while coaching junior clubs.
In his tenure at Menlo School (CA), his team won one State Championship (2016), two League Titles, and three Northern California Tournament appearances; in 2017, he was named California Rookie Coach of the Year.
His former players play now in many collegiate programs (Stanford, UW, Brown, Yale, Cal, and many others) and in many professional leagues around the globe.
Marco is currently the Varsity Head Coach and Associate Athletic Director at Carrollton School of Sacred Heart in Miami.
He is married to Mia Causevic, a former pro volleyball player and director at Miami Wave VB Club; Marco and Mia have two daughters, Nina and Luna.

Mia Causevic comes from a family of high-level volleyball players (both her parents played professionally for several years, and her father Nurko was one of the top players in the world, a pillar of the Yugoslavian National Team).
She started playing when she was 10 years old and quickly became one of the top players in Croatia. When she was 14, she was recruited and got under contract with Teodora Ravenna, one of the top clubs in the Italian Pro League (Serie A), which started her Italian career.
While playing, she got her BA in Fashion at NABA and then started her career in education and fashion at the Fashion School - NABA in Milan in 2010.
She moved to Miami in 2019, where she founded Miami Wave Volleyball together with her husband, Marco Paglialunga, and she is currently the Assistant Chair at the Fashion Institute at MDC.
She is married to Marco, a former Italian National Teams coach and director at Miami Wave VB Club; Mia and Marco have two daughters, Nina and Luna.

Federico Severi brings over 15 years of experience as a semi-professional volleyball player and junior coach in Italy.
During his career, he helped his Club teams to reach 3 junior championships and 3 semi-pro league promotions. He also participated in 3 National College Volleyball Finals, earning both gold and bronze medals.
Coming from a sports-driven family - his mother a former basketball player for the Italian Junior National team and his father an avid volleyball player and enthusiast - Federico’s passion for sports has always been a central part of his life. While pursuing his volleyball career, he also earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering.
An all-around sports enthusiast with a love also for soccer and tennis, Federico moved to Hoboken, NJ in 2011. He now lives there with his wife Lindsey, a full-time professional yoga instructor and together, when they are not busy coaching and teaching, they love to travel around the world, enjoy a nice dinner in the City and have fun at live music concerts.
